Chemists: Does caffeine have an odor?

In my organic lab, we extracted caffeine from Tea Bags and then used vacuum sublimation to purify the sample. What I got was a fine white powder that smelled exactly like white Tic-Tacs. Have any of you had a similar experience?

Caffeine is a bitter white crystalline xanthine alkaloid, but, as far as I know, it ’s odorless.
