Chamomile Tea
Is it safe to give my 2 year old daughter chamomile tea to help her sleep?
I have been having a lot of trouble getting my 2 year old daughter to sleep lately. I always find chamomile tea helps me when I am having trouble settling. Is it safe to give to my daughter? If not, does anyone know of any other herbal remedies that may help? Thanks in advance for all your help 
I agree with previous answer. If it’s safe to give a two year old tylenol and other chemical ridden over the counter drugs, then something safe and natural like chamomile should be fine. You can also try lavender. It helps to relax and soothe. You can get lavender essential oil and rub a little on her temples before bed, or mix it with a lotion and use it on the skin. You can also get a soy lavender candle (burns cleaner than regular candles) and burn it for about an hour before her bed time. Just make sure it is made with essential oil (otherwise it is a fragrance, which is man made and not natural). The aromatherapy will help everyone in the house relax and start to wind down before bed. I’ve also heard that giving children massages helps them to relax and sleep easier. This is another way in which you can use lavender mixed with lotion.
